Just watched the first episode of Fringe, the 78 minute long pilot. Got to say I've got mixed feelings about it.
Walter Bishop is a wonderful character and improves every scene he's in. The plot is an interesting one (although a certain "jaw-dropping" scene is just plain gross) and there's a nice arc forming up here.
Not too keen on Agent Dunham so far - it's her voice for one thing. You can tell it's an Abrams show when the hero gets down to her undies twice in under an hour, but the character otherwise just seems a bit underdeveloped at the moment.
I'll give this time (for a start I've paid out for one box set).
