That would be a spectacularly cheap haircut considering the current exchange rate.
- The full tale about Omo's first meeting with the Doctor can be found on the official website here.
- I'm agreeing with a thread on Reddit; the current TARDIS set is too big and too empty. It is also rather too easy to get between destinations.
- As a Caucasian with straight hair, who judges his haircut requirement by when he needs to start brushing his hair away from his eyes, how does a guy with African-type hair make that decision?
- I have never been to Nigeria, but I do work with Nigerians in my current job. I believe that is quite normal to refer to an older person as "uncle" or "auntie" in that part of the world.
- The Doctor says this is his first black body, then we get to see Jo Martin turn up as the Fugitive Doctor. Does she not count or something?
- Was 2019 really a great year for Nigeria?
- I can't say I'm familiar with some of those "gods"; I'm only familiar with Sága from The Bridge, who isn't exactly a deity. This one is missing out as there is some good stuff in Marvel post-Endgame.
- I suspect much of this episode would go down better with an African audience who grew up in this world.
- Belinda doesn't really have a lot to do here, does she?
- I've got to say that "overloading the engine with my own awesomeness" is a bit of a cop-out ending.
Conclusion
Well it was certainly well told, this wasn't the easiest of stories to follow and nor was it the most enjoyable tale in the world.
6/10
